The Power of Certifications: What It Means to Be a Certified Organic Producer
In today's market, consumers are increasingly vigilant about the origins and quality of their food, seeking assurance that their choices align with health and environmental standards. Organic certification is pivotal in providing this assurance, serving as a testament to a producer's commitment to sustainable and transparent practices.

Understanding Organic Certification
Organic certification is a formal process verifying that producers adhere to specific standards in their methods. These standards prohibit the use of synthetic pesticides, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and mandate practices that foster soil health and biodiversity.
Narayan Foods' Commitment to Organic Integrity
At Narayan Foods, we uphold the highest standards of organic production, holding both EU Organic Certification and USDA Organic Certification. These certifications are not merely labels; they represent our dedication to quality, sustainability, and consumer trust.
Key Aspects of Organic Certification
Strict Prohibition of Synthetic Inputs: Certified organic products must be cultivated without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or GMOs, promoting a healthier ecosystem.
Rigorous Inspection Protocols: Independent auditors conduct regular reviews of our facilities to ensure compliance with organic regulations, maintaining full traceability from farm to store.
Transparency in Labeling: Products labelled as "100% organic" contain only organically produced ingredients. Those labeled as "organic" must consist of at least 95% organic components, with the remaining ingredients meeting stringent safety and ethical standards.
Global Recognition and Equivalency
Narayan Foods' certifications facilitate access to international markets, as the USDA has established organic equivalency arrangements with countries like Canada, Japan, and Korea. These agreements acknowledge the parity of organic standards, streamlining certification requirements and expanding market opportunities.
For Narayan Foods, organic certification is a cornerstone of our mission to deliver products that meet the highest quality, sustainability, and integrity standards. When consumers choose products bearing the organic label, they are making a conscious decision that benefits both their well-being and the planet.

Organic products are not subjected to ionization!
According to the EU Organic Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2018/848), the use of ionizing radiation is strictly prohibited for organic foods and raw materials. If a product has been ionized, it cannot be labeled as ECO/BIO/ORGANIC and is not allowed to carry the EU organic logo.
